- Probably simply its being different from the norm. People tend to group
- around like people, whether it be on the basis of age, race, ethnicity,
- sexual orientation, etc. It is relatively rare, although less so lately,
- to see mixed groups of people together.

- That is one of the beauties of motss. Here it is the norm enjoy company
- with a diverse group of people. This diversity has certainly helped me
- to become familiar with many different cultures I would not have come across
- in my daily life. A year ago, I didn't think I would ever have reason to
- go into a leather bar, for example. While I didn't necessarily understand
- (I'm not sure that is the word I am looking for, but it may have to do for
- now) you and Robert at the time, I did have to look within myself to
- understand why it bothered me so, and why I had chosen to limit myself
- in this regard, and many others.
-
- This only addresses a small subset of your post, which has given me
- many things to think about. Thanks.
