  12. Just a short quote I found on the equality of women and men :

  14. "The emancipation of women, the achievement of full equality between the
  15. sexes, is one of the most important, though less acknowledged
  16. prerequisites of peace.  The denial of such equality perpetrates an
  17. injustice against one half of the world's population and promotes in men
  18. harmful attitudes and habits that are carried from the family to the
  19. workplace, to political life, and ultimately to international relations.
  20. There are no grounds, moral, practical, or biological, upon which such
  21. denial can be justified.  Only as women are welcomed into full partnership
  22. in all fields of human endeavor will the moral and psychological climate
  23. be created in which international peace can emerge."
