- I will do so with both "hysterical" and "denigrate" if I am told that
- people do indeed feel marginalized by either word. It is my suspicion
- that the roots of both have been obscured to the point that neither
- bears immediate, visceral sexist or racist connotations, but I'd be
- happy to hear that I'm wrong.
