  30. Roy, that's a terribly patronizing and chauvinistic attitude.  I am
  31. offended at your view of me as some pathetic little china doll who's
  32. trained for ornamental purposes only, with no will of her own, unable
  33. to assert her own preferences.....  Yuck!  If someone's flirting with
  34. me, and I'm uncomfortable with that, I can squelch hir like a grape.
  35. Squelching only used for offensive flirting, btw, merely unwelcome
  36. attention gets a polite demurral.

  38. It's actually kind of funny to hear you say this.  The Conventional
  39. Wisdom (TM) on soc.sniggles is that women are trained to slap down
  40. any attentions from men, and that men are conditioned to find any
  41. attention flattering.  Not that soc.sniggles is a social arbiter of
  42. note, or anything like that.  :-).

  45. reality than yours.
