- Roy, that's a terribly patronizing and chauvinistic attitude. I am
- offended at your view of me as some pathetic little china doll who's
- trained for ornamental purposes only, with no will of her own, unable
- to assert her own preferences..... Yuck! If someone's flirting with
- me, and I'm uncomfortable with that, I can squelch hir like a grape.
- Squelching only used for offensive flirting, btw, merely unwelcome
- attention gets a polite demurral.

- It's actually kind of funny to hear you say this. The Conventional
- Wisdom (TM) on soc.sniggles is that women are trained to slap down
- any attentions from men, and that men are conditioned to find any
- attention flattering. Not that soc.sniggles is a social arbiter of
- note, or anything like that. :-).
