- Has anyone hacked around with the Nintendo "Freedom Connection"
- wireless controller (this is a very popular surplus item)? Or How
- about the Konami Laserscope? I need to know how the Nintendo Light
- pistol works. I've wired the Konami headset into the parallel port of
- my PC and it recognizes my voice, but I'm not sure how to get the
- photocell to respond.
-
- For those of you who don't know what the Laserscope is:
-
- It's a pair of headphones with a microphone extending out to the mouth
- and a nice heads-up crosshair display aligned with the photocell
- (which hangs out from above). I'm seeing these things sell all over
- for about $10. They seem to be reduced from $50, so they obviously
- aren't popular among nintendo players, but it seems like a nice piece
- of gear to add to the rest of the VR junk.

- I would like specs for the Freedom Connection if anyone has them.
