- I recently purchased a Konami LaserScope accessory (made for
- Nintendo). I have it wired into the parallel port similar to the
- PowerGlove, except that there are only 4 wires coming out of the
- headset. For those of you that aren't familiar with this toy, it is a
- pair of bulky plastic headphones with a microphone and a photocell
- sensor (like the one used in the "Duck Hunt" pistol). It has a nice
- heads-up crosshair display. Anything spoken into the microphone
- triggers the thing to fire.
-
- I'm looking for the specs on the Headset or Pistol (I assume that they
- are the same). I assume that the "latch" wire is the one missing from
- the headset (as compared to the powerglove), which means that there is
- a ground, +5v, clock, and data out. I can get the thing to register a
- "fire", but I'm not sure how the photosensor is integrated into all of
- this.
-
- I'm hoping to be able to use this in video games or light pen type
- applications. I highly recommend grabbing one or two of these from
- your local toy store if you find them for under $15. They list for
- $50, but I've been seeing them all around for a discount price of $10
- -what a deal.

- In case I clouded up the main point of this message up there, I'm
- looking for Specs on the Nintendo Light Pistol.
