  11.    I did find Grover's book.  It is a practical and apparently
  12. unique work.  He seems to have been the guru in charge of
  13. inductance at the Bureau of Standards for many years. It was by
  14. tracing back the references in this and a later NBS publication
  15. that I found the actual theory from which the inductance tables
  16. were constructed.

  18.    You mention finite element analysis, and I've wondered about
  19. this in connection with electric motors and antenna fields.
  20. I can't just go out and buy an expensive software package,
  21. though.  Is there anything available on the network that
  22. would help, at least to get started?
