  22. This seems to be the crux of the matter.  Personally, I will vote for or 
  23. against the new group depending mostly on who has volunteered to moderate
  24. it.  So I want to know this *first*, before we have a great deal more
  25. discussion of the details.  The first time this idea was (informally)
  26. proposed, some of the volunteers for moderators were the people who generate
  27. most of the material that I would want to exclude in the first place.
