- Please forgive my ignorance, as I am new to this group. I also would have
- monitored the discussions for a while if I had not developed such an immediate
- need -
-
- Now to the point - I was wondering if there are any packages available over
- the net that perform optical analysis (such as ray-tracing, etc.). And my
- preferences are not my requirements - I would prefer something that runs
- interactively in an X-windows or Sunview environment, but I can handle bland
- Unix or even MS-DOS.
-
- Any assistance that you can provide would be most appreciated. (Referral to
- a FAQ or whatever.)
-
- And if it seems appropriate, I will post a summary of my findings to this group.
