  15. Recently I had a post where I need the words off a soviet aviators 
  16. pin translated.  Thank you to everyone who replied.

  18. The words read "Sniper Pilot" and from what I gathered it is 
  19. some kind of elite group of fighter pilots.  But I have looked 
  20. up that in several books on the Russian Air forces and I could 
  21. find only one reference and that was on a chart of various aviator 
  22. pins and what they meant.  But not any explaination was given.

  24. If any of you can give me some back ground on this group of 
  25. pilots in the russian air forces it would be appreciated.
