- Hmmm, interesting. A couple of years ago I was on holiday in Switzerland, and
- was amazed at the level of Military activity. Everywhere I went there were
- small convoys of vehicles. One day I sat at a railway station for the best
- part of an hour and watched a whole stream of trucks and the like stream by.
- Another time I passed a battery of artillary which appeared to be just setting
- up at the edge of a field. Added to this there were always Jets flying over.
-
- I don't know whether I had just arrived during the summer exercises, but I've
- never seen that much activity anywhere before or since (and that's despite living
- very near a couple of major USAF & RAF bases)
