- I am a vegan and have read that exposure to sunshine is sufficient to provide
- vitamin D. A few questions:

- 1. Am I correct to assume that a sunblock would prevent the formation of
- vitamin D?

- 2. I have extremely fair skin, with white patches (vitiligo), which means
- I never tan, but burn very easily. How does this influence my skin's
- ability to produce vitamin D?
