- The main reasons (that *I* can think of) for using organic products include:
- 1) Ethical reasons - it's better for the planet. It's better, in the long
- run, for our animals, our crops and eventually, if you follow the chain, us.
- Read Rachel Carson's book... uhh....I'm blanking on the book, and for
- that matter, may have her name wrong. Silent Spring? Something like that.

- 2) Sensitivity to pesticides.

- 3) Support small farmers.

- 4) Some people can taste the difference in some products. Most of the
- things that I've had I couldn't tell, but occasionally I can.

- Overall, I buy organic when I can afford to but don't get neurotic
- about it - I can't afford to.
