- I am looking for information on reducing PMS symptoms through diet and
- nutrition -- avoiding certain foods, taking extra amounts of certain
- nutrients.
-
- What effect, if any, does evening primrose oil have? A vegetarian diet
- has been said to reduce menstrual flow and cramping -- has anyone
- found this to be the case? Ibuprofen definitely gets rid of cramps
- (its anti-prostaglandins effect?) but it causes stomach irritation,
- plus it is not recommended for asthmatics ...
-
- Please send your suggestions (flames, ribaldry, etc.) to me; I'll post
- a summary if there is enough interest in the subject.
-
- Thanks,
- Julie jnachman@guvax jnachman@guvax.georgetown.edu
