- IMHO, yes, generic drugs are the way to go... IN MOST CASES. There are
- exceptions - well known exceptions - but most of the time, generics are
- just fines. As for the different ingredients, those are the chemicals that
- physically hold the tablet together, help it dissolve in the stomach, etc.
- (The latter example can cause problems with generics - if you are taking
- a slow-release drug, and the generic isn't well made, it may not dissolve at
- the proper rate, as an example.)
