- I thought "piano legs" referred to a big abdomen and skinny legs, but
- maybe you have a different piano than I do. I find it hard to believe
- that dieting per se contributes markedly to the development of edema in
- the absence of other problems. As for your fingernails, I'd stop
- looking at them. End of problem.

- Have you ever met with a nutritionist (a real one) and planned a 2000
- kcal/day diet? At your current weight, you'd probably lose plenty fast
- with that for the first 100 or so lbs. That's a LOT of food. And when
- you got to your regular weight, you wouldn't need much more per day.
