- How would that help? Do you really expect a cheap low-frills volume
- distributor to deliver? And if they do, do you expect them to make a separate
- delivery to each customer by bicycle? Or what? Where is the environmental
- advantage in delivery?

- I agree with Mr. Vandeman that overreliance on cars is destructive in
- many ways, not least in its effects on community and aesthetics. And I
- agree that car users do not bear the full costs of their impact. But some
- of his proposals make not the remotest hint of sense as far as I can see.
