  25. Not really.  Most of those older breweries abided by a beer purity act first
  26. enforced in the early 1200's I believe.  This purity act was more stringent
  27. then than our industry standards are now.

  29. On another note, what is it about you people (no offense intended) that make
  30. you believe all was toxic and rat-infested before the age of the social
  31. architects?
