- The Moonies are financial contributors to the American Freedom
- Coalition. In 1989, Robert Grant, President of the AFC, admitted that
- the Unification Church donated over 5.2 million dollars, or 32.7
- percent, of the 16.9 million raised by the AFC up to that point. The
- AFC has an environmental task force and hosted wise-use rallies and
- conferences in four states in 1989. Ron Arnold and convicted felon Alan
- Gottlieb (false tax return) head the Center for the Defense of Free
- Enterprise and have served on AFC advisory boards. The CDFE publishes
- the book called _The Wise Use Agenda_.
