- Well instead od condeming my chances for even the chance for land, why not turn
- the whole state of Massachusetts into a park. If you so much want land for
- parks, why not create your own, closer to where people can actually use themm..
- Most people can't even get to the so called parks unless you like flying (which
- is not a cheap thing) or snow machine in which is not fun, unless you live near
- the park.. Im not sayin gpruvate ownership will save the wilderness, what I am
- trying to say is much of these so called park lands can only be seen by wealthy
- people. Such as congressmembers..

- Im not to excited about tourism people, but atleast they are making money for
- soething, instead of living off the State University System (hum)..

- Victor quick question? Who do you work for, and where did you grow up at?
- Just getting a mental picture of you..
-
- I grew up in Idaho (family homesteaded there in the 1840's.. Raised partially
- in Oregon (mothers family has been there since c.1900.. Raised mostly in
- Juneau, Anchorage, and somewhat in Petersburg. I have been/lived in Prudhoe,
- Nome. Visited Fairbanks, Bethel, St. Michaels (village), Elim. I probably have
- seen much more than any lower 48 person has seen of this State, which if you
- don't know is of a different scale on most maps of the US for a reason..
- I love my state. I have seen Mount McKinley more than 100 times (on a clear
- day you can see it from Anchorage), Seen more Bald Eagles than most anyone
- who never has been here has seen..
