  17. nonsense that it boggles the mind.  There is essentially no wilderness left
  18. in Massachusetts, but there is an extensive state park system which
  19. preserves much of what we have left. Of course the Feds have done a terrible
  20. job managing our national parks, but it is foolish to draw from this the
  21. lesson that private ownership is more likely to preserve wilderness and 
  22. open space than public ownership.
