  18.      The New York Public Service Commission is working on a
  19.      "green pricing" plan that would allow consumers to choose
  20.      whether to pay higher electricity bills for power from
  21.      clean, renewable energy sources, according to The Energy
  22.      Daily.

  24. I wonder if each customer is allowed his own choice as to what
  25. he considers clean, renewable sources.  I suppose the "renewable"
  26. is designed to exclude nuclear.  However, the idea that 40 to
  27. 50 percent would agree to pay extra for "clean, renewable power"
  28. is implausible to me.  It can lead to nice lawsuits about how to
  29. allocate costs among the various power sources.  Another Lawyers'
  30. Relief Act, I expect.
