- If I could THINK about affording a Mercedes, Saab, or Audi, your
- argument might be relevant in my life...
-
- I paid < $4000 for my sprint (30,000 miles on it). Not that I got much
- of a deal, but it was cheap. If I bought something that cost more, I
- would have needed a loan, so I would have to add interest to the cost.
- Plus insurance would probably be more.
-
- Maybe after I've been in an accident, I will feel that the extra
- $5000-$10000 for a Saab every 5 years or so (assuming I would buy used)
- would have been worth it. Right now I feel that it is "insurance" that
- I can't afford. In the mean-time, I get 50-60 MPG as an added benefit.
