  36. Don't want to dissillusion you, Mark.  But I think we are going to find that
  37. the 1995 compacts weigh a lot less than the 1975 compacts.  Sure, the purchase
  38. price has gone up.  But has the product lifetime cost in constant dollars gone
  39. up.  Truth is, I don't know, but my bet is on the not meaningfully side...
  40. I can promise you this...  Nothing will be brought to market that violates
  41. prevailing economic tenets.  I still _believe_ that effecient Electric Vehicles
  42. and Flywheel Vehicles will come to market within ten years.  The product 
  43. lifetime cost will be less than contemporary internal combustion vehicles.
  44. And the US economy will be most threatened by the rapid down-sizing of the
  45. aftermarket auto industry...
