- Whoa, you are away off base here. Americans have the 8th highest per
- capita GNP. I don't have current figures, but in 1988, The US trailed
- Switzerland, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark, in
- GNP per capita. If I am not mistaked the US has fallen behind even more
- since then.
