- Is this the same Brazilian who holds Chagnon accountable for
- Yanomamo genocide (published in AN a while back)? Interestingly
- enough, Pierre Bourdieu (whose name does not so easily slip from
- the tongue) prefers the work of Chagnon, over Lizot and Albert.
- Lizot and Albert publish in Catholic journals, mostly along the
- lines of "well, they are not as violent as Chagnon says." Hardly
- what I would consider to be riveting ethnography, more like
- anthropology as an apology. Methodologically, you can't beat
- Chagnon... period.
