  13. Is this the same Brazilian who holds Chagnon accountable for
  14. Yanomamo genocide (published in AN a while back)?  Interestingly
  15. enough, Pierre Bourdieu (whose name does not so easily slip from
  16. the tongue) prefers the work of Chagnon, over Lizot and Albert.
  17. Lizot and Albert publish in Catholic journals, mostly along the
  18. lines of "well, they are not as violent as Chagnon says." Hardly
  19. what I would consider to be riveting ethnography, more like
  20. anthropology as an apology.  Methodologically, you can't beat
  21. Chagnon... period.
