  14.       It is my understanding that most rain forest loss is due to slash and
  15.       burn agriculture.  I'm sure that a targeted species such as rosewood
  16.       would be affected by export to woodworkers but the vast majority of
  17.       loss is agriculture.  Rain forest soil is surprisingly bad which is
  18.       why the people move every few years.
