- Subject: Which SVHS decks are good?
- Lines: 10
-
- I'm thinking about getting an S-VHS deck.
- The main manufacturers appear to be JVC, Mitsubishi, and Panasonic.
- I've read up on a lot of the stats between the brands, but the few
- things that I don't see are things like quality, usability, reliability,
- quality of playing older non-SVHS tapes. When I looked at the high-end
- mitsubishi about 2-3 years ago, it had a problem in playing regular
- VHS tapes with a very grainy picture. I'd like to move up without
- invalidating the quality of my existing tapes.
- All comments and experiences are welcome. Thanks.
