  11. I have a Panasonic camcorder and Amiga computer (for graphics).  I also have
  12. a Panasonic VCR with flying erase heads.  If I use the pause button on the
  13. VCR well, I can generally make pretty clean cuts from one scene to the
  14. next.  Still, once in a while the tape will freak for a fraction of a 
  15. second in between graphics-video-graphics etc.  What would be the least
  16. expensive means of getting seamless playback of a number of graphics and
  17. video scenes?

  19. Another question..on still framing.  My old roommate had a vcr that had a 
  20. near perfect freeze frame.  That is, it appeared that the image was loaded
  21. to a ram chip and displayed from there.  Then he could use his digitizer
  22. to grab red-green-blue info and capture the image with very little 
  23. distortion.  Most vcrs I see today still have that annoying horizontal
  24. bar and other image distorion when the pause button is pressed.  What
  25. specific feature should one look for in a vcr that would give me the
  26. nice clear/stable paused image?
