- I have a Panasonic camcorder and Amiga computer (for graphics). I also have
- a Panasonic VCR with flying erase heads. If I use the pause button on the
- VCR well, I can generally make pretty clean cuts from one scene to the
- next. Still, once in a while the tape will freak for a fraction of a
- second in between graphics-video-graphics etc. What would be the least
- expensive means of getting seamless playback of a number of graphics and
- video scenes?

- Another question..on still framing. My old roommate had a vcr that had a
- near perfect freeze frame. That is, it appeared that the image was loaded
- to a ram chip and displayed from there. Then he could use his digitizer
- to grab red-green-blue info and capture the image with very little
- distortion. Most vcrs I see today still have that annoying horizontal
- bar and other image distorion when the pause button is pressed. What
- specific feature should one look for in a vcr that would give me the
- nice clear/stable paused image?
