  22. My Christmas present to myself was an RCA that has all these features,
  23. including (5).  I suppose (3) is a matter of opinion, but the quality is at
  24. least as good as the one on my 1984 Hitachi TV, and easier to use.  This VCR
  25. also has stereo and SAP, on-screen programming with a Help button, and slow
  26. motion.  I got it for $300 on sale at a department store.  Send me E-mail if
  27. you want the model number.  For my birthday, maybe I'll get myself a stereo to
  28. connect to it.

  30. Meanwhile, is it possible to connect the audio outputs of the VCR to the
  31. microphone input of an old stereo that doesn't have line inputs?  Do such mike
  32. inputs pick up in stereo?

  35. a year or two ago?
