- A cheap accessory I recommend for everyone who buys and Sony TR or V CamCorder
- that uses NiCd batteries - buy one backup 6 "AA" dry cell adapter pack. It is
- about $15 and serves 2 purposes...
-
- 1) It can serve as a backup pack. My batteries went dead when I was
- on "The Rock" in S.F. Harbor. I was able to buy "AA" cells at the store on
- the island and keep recording.
-
- 2) NiCd's go dead on the shelf and have to be re-charged. The "AA"
- packs do not. There will come the day when you haven't touched your Camcorder
- for 2 weeks and you want to record something neat and unexpected. You can
- just pop on the AA pack and start recording.
