- Last year I bought a factory reconditioned Pioneer 980. Fourteen
- months later (two months after the warentee ran out) it began having
- trouble tracking standard music CD`s. I would put the disk in, push
- play and hear the player trying to sync up or start tracking the
- disk. It started out being a problem on a few of my CD's but has
- progressed to the point where no CD's will play and the machine skips
- around on the last (inner most) tracks on the laser disks. I have
- cleaned the lens and LED to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?
- Does anyone have an idea on what the repairs will cost? Please send
- me mail and I will summarize all letters.
