- I have been buying NTSC laser discs from a company here in Melbourne which
- imports them from the U.S. Since they provide a convenient ordering service,
- a newsletter and catalogs etc., their prices obviously reflect the value
- they add to the import service. However, they recently decided that they
- are going to charge for the newsletter, and that they are going to raise
- their prices by what I consider to be an unacceptable amount. As a result,
- I am keen to find out what it might cost me to purchase direct, and do my
- own personal importing.
-
- I would be very keen to hear of any company which provides a mail-order
- service to overseas customers. Not just in the U.S., and not just NTSC
- discs -- a European company selling PAL discs would be of great interest
- too. Ideally I would like to find someone who will:
-
- a) send me catalogs at a reasonable price (although I get a lot of
- information from the net, so frequent updates would perhaps not be
- essential).
- b) be able to provide detailed statements of shipping costs in advance.
- c) accept either Visa or American Express for payment.
-
- Maybe I can't get all this in a supplier, but that's my wish list! :-)
-
- If anybody can provide me with contact addresses I would be most grateful.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Mark.

- "This terminal is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone
- to meet its maker. This is a late terminal. It's a stiff. Bereft of
- life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the bench, it
- would be pushing up the daisies. It's run down the curtain and
- joined the choir invisible. This is an X-Terminal!"
