  15. I will be going to New Zealand in for the last two weeks on business and have
  16. decided to take my wife along.  In addition, another friend might be going 
  17. as well.  We will be there from 15 Jan - 30 Jan which we realize is the high
  18. season, but this trip came up very suddenly.  
  19.  
  20. I will be in Christchurch during the first four days, but we are free after that.
  21. My main concern is the ability to find reasonable accommodations during the
  22. free time.  We are active, sports minded people and want to hike, bicycle, sea
  23. kayak, etc. during the time we are there.

  25. We have heard rumors that New Zealand is more fun for couples than for single
  26. travelers, and our friend that might go with us has concerns regarding nightlife
  27. and opportunities for single travelers.  Any info along these lines would be
  28. much appreciated.

  30. If anyone has been there or has a FAQ list on New Zealand, I would much 
  31. appreciate hearing from you.  Please respond by email and I will summarize if
