- From the Ski School of Cosmetology; my wife
- and I bought new skiis for this year. We usually
- upgrade every two years. A friend of mine opened
- a shop selling used skiis, and I've noticed that
- the appearance of the topskin has a direct effect
- on the price the skiis pull in. Now my question;
- I'm thinking of putting that 'Ski Saver' protective
- tape stuff on our boards before we use them, to
- keep that pretty (and functionless) topskin lookin'
- good. Has anyone tried this stuff ? Does it work ?
- Can it be removed later (like if it gets all ripped
- and mangled ?) Will the lack of gouges, scratches
- and chunks make lift companions lose respect for
- me ? Will I be possesed by an overwhelming need to
- buy Bogner suits and a condo at Deer Valley ?
- Thanks for any experiences, and have a good holiday
- even my fellow ice skater...uh eastern skiers.
