  36. The substance you are refering to is basically silcon coated plastic.  It
  37. does not really behave like ice (harder to push on, can not do toe jumps)
  38. and is terrible for your blades (I skated on some for about 15 minutes and had 
  39. to have my skates sharpened again, they were duller than rental skates :-)
