- One thing that hasn't popped up in this discussion is the non-impact
- nature of in-line skating. Rollerblading creates much less shock for
- the knees and lower body then running. This shock can have an impact
- on your day-to-day recovery cycle.

- (Massachusetts), is convinced that the current generation of Americans
- who are running will completely wear out their running-related
- connective tissue and joints by the time they're 80. He adopted
- in-line skating into his fitness regime as an early preventative
- measure.
