- I find your chauvinistic point of view very disturbing! I know
- a number of pair and dance partners who have been skating together for quite
- a while and are happily married -- to other people. To imply that skating
- together requires that they also be having sex with one another is stupid.
- An excellent example is Barbara Underhill and Paul Martini. Anyone who has
- seen them skate knows that they really heat up the ice. However, they
- are happily married to others. In fact, Barbara just recently (Oct) gave
- birth to twins (if I remember correctly). Also, are you implying that the
- skating pair of Kitty and Peter Carruthers (one of best US pairs on the
- pro circuit), are sexually involved with each other -- since they are
- brother and sister, that would imply you are suggesting incest.
- As far as why pairs are always a man and a woman, figure skating
- is no different than the rest of society. Tradition is important.
- As far as the percentage of gays, your last paragraph suggests
- that gay men are women haters (otherwise, why would they want to be
- around them). This is total nonsense. Of the gays I know, they don't
- hate women, they just find men sexually attractive. Assuming you are
- hetero, does your sexual preference make you hate being around other
- men? Have you never played baseball, basketball, football, or hockey,
- where you have to come in close contact with men?
- In closing, please grow up.
