- I would second the advice in the previous response ( 55 macro et al ), and
- throw in a few more ideas. Another lens for your consideration is the
- Tamron 90mm, f2.5 macro. It is rated along with the best, and is sharper
- than most at intermediate distances. It provides a hair more light for focusing
- and is "long" enough to get skitish creatures to fill more of the frame.
- Another useful addition is an aftermarket focusing screen such as the
- "Brightview". It adds considerabily to focusing ease in limited underwater
- light.
- I also like the Ikelite strobes, though I use the "Ai" model along with a
- Morris slave strobe for fill. The Morris comes from Helix @ $39.95, a real
- low price for underwater gear.
