  25. You *could* post a Request For Discussion (RFD) to
  26. news.announce.newgroups (the whole group creation procdeure is described
  27. in one of the regular postings to news.announce.newusers, among other
  28. groups).

  30. But what I predict would happen is a large outcry of the nature of ``Fer
  31. crying out loud, rec.roller-coaster is one of the *smallest* newsgroups
  32. on the net!  You can't justify splitting it!  Bah!''

  34. And remember, you need 100 more yes than no votes *and* at least 2/3 yes
  35. in order for a group to pass.
