- Yeah, after we exchanged mail, that finally became apparent...

-
- Except for the ridiculous amount of traffic there. Even if you read the
- group regularly, it can get pretty out-of-hand and have several hundred
- new messages in less than a day...
-
- I would tend to agree, however, that it would be pretty unlikely to get
- a new group to pass -- although it does seem like a good idea to me, and
- a few other people...

-
- Yes, very good opposition, I must say... but all of those people with
- limited newsfeeds are henceforth cut off -- and it surely seems that
- there are more of us in that boat, suffering with limited feeds.
-

-
- Again, some good comments...
-
-
- OK: BETTER IDEA...
-
- If we were to cut off Germany/England from the newsfeed for
- BINARIES ONLY. That is, set the "Distribution:" line to "USA" or
- something... most of the sites here in the US are local enough to each
- other that they won't be bothered by that occassional big feed -- and
- Thorsten wouldn't have to worry about big phone bills from a series of
- 60k UUE's coming down the pipe.
-
- What do you think about that idea? Worthwhile?
