- I don't have the tempeatures handy, but its HOT HOT. This was surfaced
- some years back, after everyone started using teflon coated cookware.

- Effectively the only way to do it was to melt the pan. That is, as long
- as anything was in it, to limit the temps, the Teflon stayed below the
- decomposition point.

- If a pan was allowed to boil "dry" (dry of either water or "grease",
- then there is risk. (I have seen a an aluminum (no teflon) teakettle
- melted on an electric stove...)

- For pyro work, so long as the combustion took place "up there", as
- opposed to ground effects, or (especially) indoor fireworks, the risk
- would be minimal.
