  15. From my own experience:

  17. It may last some days up to a week.
  18. May be you have lost some percent of your Hearing for ever, but (normally)
  19. after some days you won't feel it longer.

  21. I had a lot of "bang traumata" (one every New years day ...) and the biggest
  22. one occured as a pot with Potassium chlorate and red phosphor exploded
  23. in my hand (also removing some quarter-centimeters of skin and, sprinkling
  24. tho whole kitchen with blood stains and totally disrupting the aluminum
  25. pot where the stuff was confined. (I only put a paper ball onto it, so you
  26. know --> NEVER NEVER use this stuff, the books know what they say, at
  27. least with this stuff)

  29. After this traumata, I heared nearly nothing for 2 days and the hearing
  30. came back slowly the following days over... The higher the frequencies,
  31. the later.

  33. BTW, I have no real experiences with the shock waves produced by real
  34. PE's as the NI3x(NH3)n compound (or whatever it is), I only know that
  35. their damage is much bigger, compared from my tests with SMALL amounts
  36. of NI3 and Acetone Peroxide.
