- I've heard that if you get fabrics which have a smooth finish rather
- than something rough and nubby, cats aren't excited about scratching it.
- Our couch is a fairly smooth fabric and both Bast and Felix are happy with
- their various scratching posts or the cat house. Felix does occasionally
- digress to the rug in the entryway, but after I caught him at it and
- showed him a massive Primate Threat Display (where are you, sTella?), he
- reconsidered his position. Anybody else found that smooth fabrics are
- less appealing?
