- It's the "breed" designation that means "short haired cat of unknown or mixed
- breed".

- $50 apiece sounds awfully expensive for a DSH cat, when you can get one from
- a shelter that is just as likely to be healthy (I am making the assumption
- here, of course, that any store that would sell a DSH for $50 is probably
- not very scrupulous) and will cost much less.
