- I went to the hardware store, and bought some of the plastic rug
- protecter, the stuff you might put over the rug if you were expecting
- heavy dirty traffic. It's dirt cheap, and then staple it to the floor
- (using construction staples, not a regular stapler) in the places
- where they tend to chew.
