  17. I went to the hardware store, and bought some of the plastic rug
  18. protecter, the stuff you might put over the rug if you were expecting
  19. heavy dirty traffic.  It's dirt cheap, and then staple it to the floor
  20. (using construction staples, not a regular stapler) in the places
  21. where they tend to chew.
