  12. I would recommend a separate event for period firearms, at a mundane 
  13. firing range for safety.  Scores could be tabulated much the same as 
  14. Inter-Kingdom Archery Competition.

  16. Safety issues could be moderated by firing range officials, as in mundane 
  17. marksman competitions.  This would resolve many issues at once.

  19. Otherwise, I feel that major hazards could develop at regular SCA events.
