- One of the essential differences typically seen between Western religous
- and "scientific" dogmas is that the religions tend to have man starting
- at some perfect state and getting worse, whereas the "scientific"
- dogma has man striving to reach a better state from a humble beginning.
-
- Now admittidly, things shouldn't be too "easily" changed. But being
- a "scientific" kinda guy, I believe that the Society must "adapt
- or die", as they say. Especially as part of a rapidly-changing world.
-
- Of course, those who believe they are "Better" than others, uh,
- well, don't have any opinion that interests me, actually. I hope
- Tim was jesting about that bit.
