- Hello
-
- A while back I posted some mail to this group regarding turning a Guillows
- P-38 lightning into an electric Radio Controlled model. Most if not
- all of the responses I received expressed the general idea that it was
- impossible. The idea turned up again in a conversation I had with my local
- hobby dealer. He noticed that there are a lot of RC planes available today
- with simple electric drives from Cox that I may want to consider as power
- sources for my conversion. Now I know that some of you probably think
- I missing a few but I still want to built that P-38. However, if anyone
- knows of a alternative that still would be a twin engine project and still
- remain around the same wing span as that Guillows kit, please don't
- keep it to yourself.
