- Ain't this newsgroup the best!?!?!?!? :-)

-
- Not at all - it just gives your flight pack 20% more capacity. Consider
- that many models with additional servos, or bigger servos, or whatever
- might require a higher current draw, will use 1200 or 1500 mAh packs.

-
- I had two of these, but wore them out 8+ years ago, so I haven't actually
- dealt with them recently. However, for both of mine, I purchased a
- muffler made by one of the muffler companies (Tatone?) that was a direct
- strap-on fit to the K&B engines. Check in a Tower catalog, or with a
- large store and see if you can find such a beast again. I seem to
- recall "Peace Pipe" was the name of the product (not mfgr). It may
- be that this product is long out of service, however. Also, it seemed
- to rob quite a bit of power, but it sure was quiet, relatively speaking
- to the mufflers of that day.
-
- At any rate, you shold be able to buy a muffler that will suit your
- purpose from the Tatone or C.B. product line. But considering that you'll
- pay $20+ for a muffler and that a new OS 40FP runs around ($50).....
- well, I'd choose a new engine, personally. :-)
-
- Good luck with your Eagle II - great plane!
